Does every Someburros location offer catering?

Yes! All of our locations provide catering services. We offer pick up, delivery, and full service options. From corporate events, office lunches, weddings, birthdays, graduations, and any other event or milestone that is worth celebrating. No event is too big or too small!

Does Someburros offer delivery? How do I book it and how does it work?

Yes! To be eligible, the order total must exceed $250 before tax and delivery fee.

There is a $25 delivery fee that covers a 10 mile radius from any Someburros location. There may be an increased delivery fee for addresses that are further than 10 miles.

We offer delivery from 9am-8pm daily. Need a delivery outside of our delivery hours? Give us a call and we can check our availability.

We do not partner with any 3rd party services to deliver catering orders. If you book catering delivery with us, one of our familia members will be bringing the fiesta to you. This ensures we have full control over the quality and accuracy of the delivery.

Once the estimate is approved a payment link will be sent over via email. After payment has been successfully submitted your order will be booked! We must receive payment 24 hours before the time of delivery to get the order fully booked.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

It is never too early! We encourage you to place the order as far in advance as you can. We ask for a minimum of 24 hours for pick up, 48 hours for delivery, 7 days for a full service, and 14 days for the Burro Bus. If you have last-minute catering needs, reach out to us and we will do our best to make it happen!

While we do ask for advance notice, depending on the time and size, the restaurant may be able to accommodate a same day catering pick up.

Please call your local Someburros directly to inquire about their same day pick up availability. At this time we are unable to book same day deliveries.

Is Someburros available for catering on Sundays and Holidays?

We cater every day of the week and on most holidays, with the exception of Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

On Christmas Eve we offer catering platter pick up from open to 6 PM. Due to the volume of orders on this date, we are unable to provide non-pick up catering services.

Is the food ready to eat when I receive it? How do I keep the food hot?

Our food will be hot and ready to eat when you receive the order and is packaged in conviniently disposable containers.

If food needs to be kept hot for a long duration of time, we can add on chafing dishes with sternos. Each set up is $15 and includes a wire chafing rack, two sternos, and a water pan. The amount of chafers needed varies depending on what you order. If you return the wire chafer(s) to your local Someburros location you will be given a gift card with $5 per chafer that is returned to us. Ex: if you return 5 chafers to us, you will receive a $25 gift card!

I want to place a pick up catering order, how do I do that?

Want to place it online and pay in advance? Visit our online ordering section and get it all booked and paid with a click of a button at any time of the week, day, or night!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover). If you need to pay by cash or Someburros gift cards for a delivery order, it will need to be done in the location directly before the date of your event. We do not handle payments at the time of delivery.

I have sent my order details to the Catering Department. When will I hear back?

Our catering department is available via phone or email Monday - Friday. We do our best to get a reply to all customers within 24 hours of the initial inquiry.

If it has been more than 48 hours with no reply please give us a call at 480-201-8226 and we can either give you a status update on when you will have your quote or gather your order details if we never received them.

What Dietary restrictions can you accommodate?

Our shredded beef, ground beef, carne asada, pollo asado, refried beans, and corn tortillas are all Gluten Friendly options. We do not have a gluten free kitchen or separate fryers.

We have vegan tacos available by the taco platter or can be ordered a la carte to accommodate a smaller guest count.

All salsas and guacamole are vegan and gluten free as well!

The B.(uild)Y.O. Taco Bar is also a fan favorite. The taco bar allows each of your guests to customize their own tacos, making it convenient for groups that are looking to accommodate a variety of dietary needs/restrictions.

I am not sure what to get, can you help me with what to order?

Absolutely, we are here to help! Give our catering team a call or email and provide some basic details about your event.

Detailed examples include: open house vs. seated meal, finger foods vs. full meal, the budget you are looking to stay within, and any food items or sides that are must haves. We will take all the information you provide us to make the starting quote as accurate as possible and work with you to get it just right!

What are the space requirements for the Burro Bus?

The Burro Bus requires at least 11 feet of vertical clearance and approximately 30' x 15'  feet of parking space to safely park and operate. The space should be flat and accessible for setup and service.

Please note that the person booking the Burro Bus is responsible for covering any permit fees and arranging the parking space in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly on event day. Let us know if you’d like help thinking through your space. We’re happy to chat through it!

Are there kid-friendly options available for catering?

Yes! Our quesadilla platter, bean mini chimis, and taquitos are go to’s for the little ones. Kids' appetites and taste buds vary greatly, but based on experience we recommend 2 pieces of quesadilla, 2 mini chimis, or 2 taquitos to be the average serving size for kids 10 and younger.

Do you accept requests for the Burro Bus to park and sell food at events?

We love being part of community events and bringing the Burro Bus out to serve our familia! To participate, we require a $1,500 guaranteed minimum. If sales do not reach that amount during your event, the host is responsible for covering the difference.

Availability is subject to scheduling, and the event organizer is responsible for costs associated with permits and arranging an approved parking space in advance.

How do I know how much to order? How many people does each menu item serve?

We know it can be a tricky and stressful task of ordering food for an important event. Every group is different and there is no one size fits all when it comes to the serving sizes of our delicious Sonoran style Mexican food!

Below is the average serving size per item to help you best guess the amount of food you need to order.

Fiesta Platter: 12-15 People (estimating 3 items per person as average serving size)
Taco Platter: 7-15 people (average serving size is 2 per person)

Do you require a deposit?

We do not require a deposit on any pick up or delivery orders. When booking with the catering team, we take the balance in full at time of booking. Orders are fully booked once payment has been submitted.

On all Full Service orders we take a $150 deposit upfront to keep the date on our calendar and the remaining balance is due a minimum of 7 days before the event date. This ensures we are holding calendar spots for our committed customers and leaving it open for others who are ready to book. Any deposits are non refundable but they can be transferred to a new date or different order type if full service is no longer desired.

For the Burro Bus, we require a $300 non refundable deposit to reserve the date. The remaining balance is due a minimum of 7 days before the event.

I am booking an order for a school and need an invoice to submit a PO. Do you accept those? What is the best way to book my order?

Whether it is for pick up or delivery, contact our catering team directly via phone or email with the complete order details. They will create an invoice for you to submit a check request. We understand the purchase order process however we do not accept the PO as a form of payment. We will need a check in hand no later than the day of the order.

My group qualifies for a tax exemption. How do I get the taxes taken off my order?

At Someburros we only charge STATE taxes. If your group qualifies for state tax exemptions we will need you to send us a completed “AZ Form 5000 - Transaction Privilege Tax Exemption Certificate” when you are placing the order.

This form can be found on google or we can send it to you directly. We will review the document to ensure it is completed accurately. Once the completed form has been received and approved, we will remove the taxes and finish booking the order.
